ABC Family Summer Slate Includes Original Movie Starring Raven-Symoné

ABC Family has announced their upcoming Summer slate, along with more of hit shows like “Secret Life of the American Teenager” and “Make It or Break It,” the network will also unveil new series like “Pretty Little Liars, “Huge,” and “Melissa & Joey,” as well as a new original movie starring none other than Raven-Symoné.
Based on the popular book series by Sara Shepard, “Pretty Little Liars” tells the story of four estranged best friends who reunited after one friend went missing and they begin to receive messages revealing secrets about the group.
The drama stars Lucy Hal, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson , Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse. Also starring are Laura Leighton ("Melrose Place"), Bianca Lawson ("The Vampire Diaries") and Ian Harding ("NCIS: Los Angeles")."Pretty Little Liars" premieres on Tuesday, June 8 at 8pm ET/PT.
Broadway’s “Hairspray” star Nikki Blonsky, who also appeared on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” stars in “Huge,” a new dramedy which follows the teens and staff at a weight loss camp. The show stars Andrew Caldwell, Zander Eckhouse, Harvey Guillen, Ari Stidham, Ashley Holliday and Hayley Hasselhoff. "Huge" premieres Monday, June 28 at 9pm ET/PT.
"Melissa & Joey," a new sitcom starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence, is set to premiere in August. In the show, Lawrence becomes the family’s “nanny” as Hart’s character is a former wild child who takes on a serious political job.
In July, Raven-Symoné and Joanna Garcia star in “Revenge of the Bridesmaids.” The original movie features Raven and Garcia playing best friends who return to their small town to learn that a gold-digging frenemy is marrying their close friend Rachel’s love of her life. The two go undercover as bridesmaid to sabotage the wedding. The film is from the producers of the upcoming “Beauty & the Briefcase” starring Hilary Duff and by “Ugly Betty” director Jim Heyman.
